About
Us:
As of October 1st, 2001 we
are eighty-two (82) SPEC members strong. We do a variety of things as
a group, but our main focus is to have fun in everything that we do.
So far we are doing well. We represent the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver,
Washington area but have members; as far south as Eugene, Oregon, as
far west as Seaside, Oregon and as far east as Bend, Oregon. Each and
every one of us brings something to the club, be it knowledge, experience
or a smile. Usually once a month we get together for a meeting and sometimes
in between we have “fun runs” (where we just go drive and see where
our cars take us). We get a number of support from different local vendors
and in return, we give support back as well as help out with our local
Pro Rally teams (Hairpin Racing and Primitive Racing). The age and sex
of our members varies from the old to the young and both boys and girls
are welcome. Please feel free to stop by one of our meetings and see
what we are all about. When you do show up, be prepared to get an earful
because every one of us is as excited about our cars as you are.
